Having opened with OGSA many years ago, the previous owner had created the bones of a beautiful garden.

New owners Peg and Jules, with unbridled enthusiasm are certainly putting their own stamp on this unique property.

With their passion for ‘growing their own’, their first project was to completely renovate a large part of their rear yard. This was no small undertaking. Working with a landscape designer, the project started with a large excavation to create terraced pads for the productive area and rainwater tank.

Galvanised raised vegetable beds have become a structural part of the retaining walls, in conjunction with bespoke raised timber beds. The garden's middle terrace has a chook shed, a multi-use shed which sits above a water tank that harvests and stores rainwater from the house.

With a hedge of citrus, numerous fruit trees, bee hive, herbs growing among the stone retaining walls, a ‘Pumpkin Palace’ and the new veg beds always brimming with an abundance of produce, this is a garden that keeps on giving.
